Shortly after 01:00 on Monday night, the fire started in a residence outside Strängnäs. However, the fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured. According to the police, the scene has been cordoned off for a technical investigation and a preliminary investigation into attempted arson has been launched. No one has been arrested as a suspect in the crime.
During the past weekend, a villa in Eskilstuna was subjected to an arson attack.
