Arsenal up to the top after victory

Arsenal scored the first goal. Martin Ödegaard struck, already in the 18th minute.

The team increased the lead to 2-0 after just over half an hour of play, once again through Martin Ödegaard.

Arsenal also made it 3-0 in the 34th minute, when Gabriel Jesus scored. In the 65th minute, Noni Madueke netted, reducing for Chelsea. However, it was not more than that for Chelsea.

Arsenal have one win, three draws and one loss and 11-12 goal difference in their last five matches, while Chelsea have one draw and four losses and 2-8 goal difference.

The next opponent for Arsenal is Newcastle. The teams meet on Sunday 7 May at 17.30 at St James’ Park. Chelsea take on Bournemouth away Saturday 6 May 4pm.
