Newsplein33 is an initiative of collaborating organizations in Leusden and Amersfoort. The plan was developed by RTV Utrecht, Eemland Library, the platform for investigative and background journalism ‘De Stadsbron’ and newspaper publisher BDUmedia. Nieuwsplein33 is an independent organization. It is the intention that after the start, cooperation will be sought with local and regional parties to take the news provision to a higher level.
