The man who was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of causing the death of another in Skillingaryd in Småland has been released, reports Jönköpings-Posten.
According to the newspaper, which refers to the Public Prosecutor’s Office’s press service, the arrest was lifted on Thursday evening. Whether the suspicion remains is unclear.
It was on Wednesday morning that a woman in her 70s was found dead in a residence in Skillingaryd. According to the police, the circumstances surrounding the death are unclear, and the now released man was arrested shortly after the woman was found.
