ARREST WAS REQUESTED

Authorities, who conducted a joint investigation by the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO) and the General Directorate of Security and the Ministry of Defense against senior officials, applied to the Seoul Western District Court for Yoon’s arrest. It was stated that Yoon was called to testify three times, but he did not respond to the calls, and his arrest was requested.

Yun Gap-geun, one of Yoon’s lawyers, stated that they would take legal action in response to the request.
