It concerns five people from Eskilstuna, Strängnäs and Linköping who were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of having planned some form of terrorist crime. According to Säpo, there is a connection to violent Islamist extremism and the terrorist sect IS.
The detention hearings for the five suspects take place in turn during the day.
15-year-old among the suspects
The 15-year-old suspect has, according to a previous judgment in the administrative court, been the subject of several reports of concern and has also been suspected of several serious crimes, as well as exhibited aggressive behavior.
Detention proceedings began at 11 a.m. and are expected to last until approximately 3 p.m. this afternoon.
