Around 30 Kurds have been refused – relatives are seen as a security threat

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

About 30 Kurds have had their applications for residence permits in Sweden rejected – even though they are not suspected of anything. The reason is instead that relatives who are already in Sweden are seen as a security risk by Säpo, reports Sweden’s radio Ekot. According to a lawyer in migration law, who Ekot has spoken to, the attitude has hardened since the last change to the terrorism law three years ago.
