The newly appointed commander of the British Army, General Patrick Sanders, states in an internal letter to his staff that Britain’s defense must be prepared for war in Europe.
“The world has changed since February 24 and there is now a burning need to form an army capable of fighting our allies to defeat Russia,” Sanders wrote, according to the BBC, which read the letter.
Sanders also wants to speed up the modernization of the business.
“We are the generation that must once again prepare the army for battle in Europe,” he writes.
