CONFLICT ON THE AZERBAIJAN-ARMENIA BORDER
Intense clashes broke out between the military units of the two countries on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced that on the night of 12 September and on the morning of 13 September, the Armenian army carried out large-scale provocations in the Dashkesen, Kelbajar, Lachin and Zangilan directions of the border with Azerbaijan.
Some positions and shelters of the Azerbaijani army on the border were under fire with different caliber weapons, including mortar shells, and the Azerbaijani army lost 50 martyrs in the attacks.
The Azerbaijani army retaliated to silence the firing points of the Armenian Armed Forces and to prevent the expansion of the conflict, and heavy losses were inflicted on the Armenian troops.
