– The Olympic gold was something completely crazy and I notice that. Everyone turns their heads when I walk by. I was pretty popular before too but nowhere near the level I’m at now. It takes some getting used to. It’s a dream, it’s like floating on clouds.

The Swedish golfers Henrik Norlander, Sebastian Söderberg, Jonas Lightning and Alexander Björk are all playing in the Omega Masters. Cheered on by compatriot Duplantis, who himself has reached ten in handicap after a few years as a golfer.
– I started playing during the pandemic. So now I’ve been playing for four years, I’m still a beginner you could say. I fell in love instantly, there is nothing better for me mentally. It’s nice to be able to have almost like therapy, he tells the TV channel.
