Armand Duplantis is once again world champion.
But after the new WC gold, the Swede shocked everyone.
– I will change sports, he announced at the press conference.
It was another blue-yellow WC gold on Saturday night when Armand Duplantis offered a new show. The Swedish world star stepped in with poise and confidence directly during the pole vault final in the athletics WC.

The 23-year-old would also come close to making it on two attempts, but unfortunately there was no world record this time. Duplantis then celebrated the new WC gold in a big way with the Swedish flag and at the subsequent press conference he was in a brilliantly happy mood.

And Armand Duplantis would also receive the most unexpected question at the meeting. When a journalist, who embarrassingly began by calling him “Armando”, asked the following question to the world champion in pole vaulting.
“You are 23 years old and have already won everything. Are you ready to try something new?”.

Mondo’s shock
Mondo was first asked the question but then responded with a shock message that made everyone’s jaws drop.
– I will start with long jump, he answered in front of the journalists.
But he quickly explained that it was just a joke and broke into big laughs in the press room.
