2023 has been another unparalleled year for the world star Armand Duplantis. The young Swede has further consolidated his position as the world’s best pole vaulter and has been totally superior.
Duplanti’s success
“Mondo” easily took home the WC gold this summer, won the overall victory in the Diamond League with ease and also reached new record heights along the way. Already at the beginning of the year, Duplantis broke a new world record with 6.22 meters.

The hunt then continued throughout the year and in the autumn came the next world record in the form of 6.23 metres. Which had to put an end to another fantastic year for Armand Duplanti’s incredible sports career.
Love Desire
By his side during his successes, he has had his biggest support in the form of his girlfriend and partner Desire Inglander. They have been together for three years, live together in Stockholm and she travels to competitions around the world to support her boyfriend from the stands.

Last Friday Duplantis turned 24 and of course Desiré wanted to show her love on social media with a beautiful gesture. She has posted a video, watch it below, that summarizes their last year together in short clips and it just shows how strong their love for each other is.
“Happy birthday,” she writes on Instagram.

The declaration of love has received over 38,000 likes on Instagram and well wishes are flooding the comments section, see the video below.
