That is the question that all Swedes wonder about.
How high can Armand Duplantis really jump? Now we have the answer!
– It gives a little pressure, says “Mondo” in the “Sporthuset” podcast.
So far there have been as many as eight world records for Armand Duplantis. The Swedish world star has really dominated the pole vault for several years now and competes mostly for herself these days.
Duplanti’s record
In April, “Mondo” started the outdoor season in the best possible way by breaking the world record again in Xiamen, China. The new record height is 6.24 meters and the 24-year-old is far from done there.

The big question now is how high Duplantis can really reach before the phenomenal career ends. In the past, the father and the coach have Greg Duplantis talked about somewhere between 6.30 and 6.40.
The answer about Mondo
But now the podcast “Sporthuset” has shared figures from advanced AI technology that provide the answer. It is the Swedish Olympic Committee, SOK, which is behind a truly unique project to find out how high Duplantis can reach in pole vaulting.
– What can the dream height be? 6.23, 6.48, 6.49, 6.50 – the dream height is 6.51!, exclaims the presenter Tommy Åström in the podcast.

According to the AI calculation, Mondo will reach a staggering 6.51 meters at his peak and he will be 33 years old when he clears that height.
– I have not heard of it before. It gives a little pressure but also motivation, says Duplantis in the interview about the AI project by SOK.
– It’s fun to see it like this, get a number. What is possible?
