Armand Duplantis improves his own world record

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

On Saturday night, Armand Duplantis, 23, broke his own world record – again. In French Clermont-Ferrand, the star cleared 6.22 meters.

– What an athlete he is, says SVT’s expert Alhaji Jeng.

The 23-year-old already secured victory at a height of 6.01. The bar was then raised to the world record height of 6.22 and on the third attempt he cleared it flawlessly and the sixth world record was a fact.

– Look! He has several centimeters of air to spare, he is not even close to the bar, says SVT’s commentator Niklas Nord.
