This summer was one of Armand Duplanti’s most successful ever. European Championship gold, Olympic gold and several world records – it will show in the wallet in the future.
This is how much “Mondo” has actually earned so far this year.
If you are the best in the world, you should be well paid. Most people probably agree with that. After a completely matchless season has Armand “Mondo” Duplantis24, actually managed to bring home several million kroner. Below we go through how much he received for each individual competition.
The Olympics made a splash at the coffers
Between January 27 and September 14, Duplantis has had 15 competition days. There have been the indoor WC in Glasgow, the outdoor EC in Rome and the Olympics in Paris, but also a lot of Diamond League competitions.
Nyheter24 has compiled information from various sites regarding prize money. It is everything from SEK 30,000 to SEK 500,000 for an individual contribution.
In addition, you get a bonus of one million kroner for every world record, except at the Olympics for some reason. With “Mondo” breaking his own record on three occasions this summer, including once during the Olympics, you can add 2,000,000 kroner to his insane salary.

Decent annual salary
During the late summer, “Mondo” competed in a 100-meter race against the Norwegian hurdler Karsten Warholm and he won. Unfortunately, he didn’t receive any prize money for that particular win, but since the event was sponsored by Redbull and Puma, it’s extremely likely that he received money from the companies to run.
The total sum amounts to SEK 4,064,000. That’s a pretty decent annual salary. Especially since Duplantis made even more money from sponsors and collaborations that are difficult to get any insight into.
