Duplantis jumped to a new world record of 620 in the World Championships in Athletics in Belgrade.

Swedish pole vaulting hero Armand Duplantis has jumped a new pole vault world record. The new record made by Duplantis is recorded at an altitude of 620.

The 22-year-old Swede improved on his previously jumped world record in Belgrade at the World Championships in Athletics. Duplantis improved its record in Belgrade by a cent.
– I don’t quite understand what happened here. Feels great, really great. Right now, it’s hard to talk when I shouted so much after the record was set, Duplantis said according to the Swedish news agency TT.
At the same time, he grabbed World Cup gold, the first indoor track world championship in his career. Brazil came second in the competition Thiago Braz da Silva with a score of 595. The bronze was jumped on by the United States Christopher Nielsen at an altitude of 590.
Duplantis has previously won Olympic gold in Tokyo in the summer of 2021 and World Championship silver on the outdoor tracks in Doha in 2019.
Duplantis has been able to improve its ME performance on several occasions. The previous record result also happened in Belgrade, Serbia, in the beginning of March.
