“The investment is Swedavia’s biggest ever on the commercial offer at Arlanda and with this, together with the new modern security check, we will significantly improve the traveler experience at the airport,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, sales manager at Swedavia in a press release.
According to Swedavia, a goal with the new range has been to provide both breadth and affordability.
Later at the turn of the year, the new food and beverage area “Verandan” is planned to open. Clearly, however, the project will only be around the turn of the year 2024-2025. In total, it is about 11,000 square meters and over 40 new shops and restaurants.
