Reduced butter pack and raised kilo price
At the beginning of 2024 could News24 Reveal that the new butter packs that were launched for Arlas Bregott had decreased in size while the price remained the same.
Bregott consisted of two packs before that, one of 300 and one of 600 grams. Now the butter is available in three sizes: 250, 500 and 750 grams. At the same time, the kilo price went up.
– The fact that the kilo price is a little higher on smaller packaging is common and is because it becomes more expensive to produce per unit. Similarly, the kilo price may be lower on larger packaging, said Max WallenbergPress Manager at Arla Foods to News24 then.
