(Finance) – The Ariane launcher 5 has successfully completed his first mission of the yearplacing in geostationary orbit two satellites for communications: MEASAT-3d for the Malaysian operator MEASAT and GSAT-24, built by the Indian space agency ISRO for NSIL. This is the 113th mission in total for Ariane 5, a launcher that is part of a program of the European Space Agency (ESA) and is operated by Arianespace, a subsidiary of ArianeGroup, which holds 74% of its share capital, with the balance held by 15 other shareholders of the European launcher industry (including the Italian Avio).
