Kvd bil has compiled a list of the crash safety for the best-selling car models in Sweden in 2021, and ranked these from best to worst crash safety.
According to Kvd bil, three-year-old cars are popular on the used market, as this is the term of many leasing agreements. These cars are often in good condition, with low mileage and good service history. At the same time, the cars also have many modern comfort and safety features.
The ranking is based on the ratings that the car models received in the organization Euro NCAP’s crash tests.
One to five stars
Euro NCAP rates the cars in the categories of passenger safety for adults, passenger safety for children, pedestrian safety and safety systems, on a scale from one to 100. The maximum a car can get is 400 points in total. Safest taba

Tesla and Volvo at the top
At the top of the ranking we unsurprisingly find Volvo with the SUV XC60, while the electric car Tesla Model 3 somewhat more surprisingly takes second place. In third place we find the BMW 3 Series.

Of the 20 cars, a total of 18 received the highest rating of five stars. Only the two Kia models Ceed and Rio received the second highest rating of four stars.
