When are the EU elections in 2024?
The EU elections take place every five years, which means that the last time it took place was in 2019.
The EU elections take place between 6 and 9 June 2024, and election day falls on different days in different countries. In Sweden, there are EU elections on June 9.
How do you know if you have the right to vote in the EU elections in Sweden? Well, you must have turned 18 at the latest on election day and either:

Over 65? That is why it is important to vote in the EU elections
According to figures from Statistics Norway, about 28 percent of the voters in this year’s EU elections are over 65.
It is therefore also important for society’s elders to vote in the EU elections, and be involved in deciding which representatives they want to see in the European Parliament.
The parties want to do that for the elderly in the 2024 EU elections

The moderates: The party’s most important issue is security.
