The Doomsday Clock has been active since 1947. It means the total destruction of humanity at midnight on the clock prepared by the famous physicist Albert Einstein and atomic scientists from the University of Chicago. In other words, the closer the clock gets to midnight, the closer humanity gets to a great destruction.
For 75 years, the Doomsday Clock has been considered a metaphor for how close humanity is to self-destruction. Since 1947, it has also served as a call to action.
When scientists set the clock to 2 minutes (120 seconds) in 2018, many people began to claim that we would experience a major disaster very soon. In 2021, the clock was left fixed.

SUBJECTS TO BE CONSIDERED
In setting the clock, of course, the events that took place in the last period will be discussed. For example, the Doomsday Clock will be recalculated with topics such as the prolonged epidemic, nuclear weapons activity in Iran, China and North Korea, the climate crisis, campaigns to manipulate state-sponsored information, and disruptive technologies.
