As the bloody war rages on in Ukraine, new evidence has emerged that shows Vladimir Putin and his high command occasionally lurked in highly secret nuclear bunkers. Putin’s whereabouts are also unknown since he began his invasion of Ukraine last month.
But the movements of the planes used by senior Kremlin officials have allegedly indicated that Putin may be in a hiding place near Surgut in western Siberia.
Investigative journalist Christo Grozev said defense minister Sergei Shoigu, who had mysteriously disappeared for weeks and sparked rumors about his health, is believed to be in a bunker near Ufa in the Urals, 725 miles east of Moscow.
This theory was also supported by his 31-year-old daughter, Ksenia Shoigu, who visited Ufa for three days from March 22, as allegations that the defense minister was suffering from heart problems were widespread. In addition, the young woman was banned from social media after she shared a photo of her posing with her baby in the blue and yellow colors of Ukraine.
If the use of high-security bunkers is confirmed, it shows alarmingly that Putin is preparing to use nuclear weapons, which will lead to inevitable retaliation.
FLIGHTS REVEALE
Grozev, who has links with the British research organization Bellingcat, said: “I am absolutely sure that Shoigu is in a bunker. When we follow the movement of his plane, we see very frequent flights to Ufa. Knowing that there are also shelters in this area gives a clear answer about his place of residence.” said.
In an interview with the Ukraine-24 channel, the TV presenter told Yevgeny Kiselyov: “If the Kremlin’s war strategy will include a nuclear attack, then the military leaders cannot hide it. They must be hidden beforehand. I’m pretty sure it’s in a place called a bunker, and we usually see flights to Ufa almost every day when we follow the plane he’s flying. Knowing that this area has very sheltered bunkers leads us to an obvious conclusion.”
PUTIN HIDES ELSEWHERE
Believing that Putin has another bunker somewhere else, Grozev said: “Probably somewhere else, because we see other flights, and they are more secret than the flight to Ufa. These are state planes and they turn off their signals somewhere around Surgut.” said. It is presumed that there is another well-equipped bunker, which also houses the government elite.
There were earlier allegations that Putin moved his close relatives to a sanctuary in the Altai Mountains, 1,100 miles southeast of Surgut and 2,360 miles east of Moscow.
Grozev claimed that Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, also worked from a bunker.
