The statement made by EA on this subject was as follows: “The first of EA SPORTS FC 24 Future Stars has been announced! All the names on the list are football talents from around the world, aged 23 and under. Each player has been selected for their impressive performances on the pitch, showing they have what it takes to become a global icon of the game. The first of the two teams (Team 1) will include 14 young football players such as Arda Güler (Real Madrid), Trinity Rodman (Washington Spirit), Jeremy Doku (Manchester City) and Lauren James (Chelsea FC) and will be crowned as Stars of the Future. EA SPORTS FC not only celebrates up-and-coming talent who are poised to reach the top, but also makes previous young legends of the game part of the Future Stars ICON team. Among the players who will take part in Team 1 ICONS are famous names such as Steven Gerrard, Clarence Seedorf and Roberto Carlos.

Starting today, FC 24 players can start adding Team 1’s young superstars to their squads. Stars of the Future player items will come with ratings boosts, reflecting their potential to make a splash in the future.
