Utrecht – Cardinal and Archbishop of Utrecht Wim Eijk has asked Pope Francis for an encyclical, a papal letter, on gender thinking. According to the Pope, this is being considered in the Vatican. The Pope has asked Eijk if he would like to contribute ideas on this subject. This subject will certainly be continued, according to a spokesperson for the Roman Catholic Church in the Netherlands.
