In the DC sequel Aquaman: Lost Kingdom, Amber Heard returns in the role of Mera alongside Jason Momoa as the superhero and Patrick Wilson as his half-brother Orm. Before the film’s release, it was unclear how big the star’s appearance in the superhero blockbuster would actually be.
There have been increasing reports that her scenes have been significantly reduced due to the controversial court case between Heard and her ex-husband Johnny Depp. After Aquaman 2’s theatrical release, the actress on Instagram now reported back after a long timeto thank their fans.

In addition to the Aquaman sequel, the actress also shot the mystery thriller In the Fire, which was released in Germany January 26, 2024 on DVD and Blu-ray appears. In the film’s plot, Heard plays a doctor who is supposed to examine a boy with inexplicable abilities. This leads to an argument with a local priest, who is convinced that the boy is possessed by the devil.
Heard currently lives in seclusion in Spain. According to her own statement, she still wants to concentrate on her acting career and new projects at some point.
