(Finance) – With reference to the treasury share buyback program approved by the Shareholders’ Meeting on 20 October 2021, Aquafil reported that he has purchasedbetween 19 and 23 December 2022 inclusive, overall 22,382 treasury shares at the average unit price of 5.3845 euros for one counter value equal to 120,516.73 euros.
Following what has already been communicated to the market, the purchases, for a maximum amount held in the portfolio by the Company and by its subsidiaries which does not exceed 3% of the share capital overall, have the purpose of allowing Aquafil to purchase and/or dispose of the Company’s ordinary shares for carrying out any investment transactions, as well as to contain anomalous movements in quotations and favor the regular conduct of trading outside of normal variations linked to market trends, and for conservation for subsequent use ( establishment of the so-called “securities warehouse”), in line with the strategic guidelines that the Company intends to pursue: consideration in extraordinary transactions or other deed of disposal and/or use to service transactions of an extraordinary nature with other subjects.
Following the purchases just announced, Aquafil holds 1,164,478 treasury shares, equal to 2.2735% of the share capital.
On the stock market, a colorless day for Aquafilwhich closed the day of December 27 with a negative percentage change of 0.54% compared to the previous session.
