As Russia’s attacks on Ukraine continue on its 39th day, April 4 was declared a day of mourning in memory of the civilians who lost their lives in Ukraine.
In a statement in Moldova, President Maya Sandu said, “We were shocked together with the whole world by the mass murder of people in the city of Bucha near Kyiv. Moldova not only condemns this illegal and unreasonable war waged by Russia against Ukraine, but also strongly condemns these crimes against humanity. “Tomorrow, April 4, 2022, we declare a national day of mourning in memory of all the innocent victims of the past 39 days in Ukraine,” he said.
