April 1st in Pokémon Go brings you poké balls everywhere – and some of them are really good

An unannounced event was started in Pokémon Go today. Items and some worthwhile Pokémon encounters await you here.

If you were already traveling in Pokémon Go today, you may have noticed something on the map that is otherwise not to be found here: Poké balls. This is not a mistake or a new feature, but this year’s event on April 1.

We have looked at what exactly the event brings you and what it looks like with today’s ramp light hour.

Event and spotlight hour on April 1st

How long does the event run? The event will take place today. So you will find the balls on the menu until 11:59 p.m.

What about the balls? If you click on one of the balls on your card, you can receive either items or a Pokémon encounter. If you have caught an item, you get a Poké, super or hyperball.

If you get a Pokémon encounter, you can meet one of the following monsters:

  • Voltobal*
  • Hisui-Voltobal*
  • Lobby
  • Hisui-Lectrobal
  • Tarnpignon*
  • Hutassa
  • Galar fluntary*

    • All monsters that are marked with an * can also appear as Shiny.

    Which monsters are particularly worthwhile? If you are hoping for strong Pokémon to fight, you will be disappointed. None of the monsters are one of the best attackers in Pokémon Go.

    The monsters also play a rather subordinate role in the fighting. In the past, however, there have been some special cups in which Hisui-Lektroball and Galar-Flunschlik could shine. If you want to be on the safe side, you can try to get a correspondingly good copy in the event.

    You should never miss Tarnpignon and Hutsassa. Both monsters are among the Pokémon that bring you more steric dust. For each camouflage, you will receive 500 star dust and even 700 for each hutassa.

    What about today’s spotlight hour? The balls and the Pokémon contained therein will also determine today’s spotlight hour, which takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. As a bonus, you get twice the amount of candies for every catch.
