(Finance) – Artera turns 22 and for the occasion launches its “Artera Growth Program” dedicated to Italian and European companies that innovate and are engaged in marketing and web development activities. The company is part of the multinational DHH group, European leader in Cloud Hosting services. The Artera Growth Program (AGP) is a ad hoc program to support businesses to encourage the development of innovative projects: an initiative by Artera, in collaboration with Merakyn, Polo ICTeImpact Hub SB, which provides financing in the form of free credits that can be used for Artera’s Cloud and Hosting services, to promote innovation and business growth.
A is expected total prize equal to 50 thousand euros, which will be provided in the form of sustainable hosting credits through Artera, certified by the independent body The Green Web Foundation. In fact, many entrepreneurs still do not know that even the space they use to host their companies’ websites and platforms can have a negative impact on the environment. In fact, they also pollute data centersi.e. all the structures that host the servers, storage, cabins, cabling and all the equipment necessary to guarantee the functioning of the IT systems. It is estimated that the Internet, specifically, contributes at least 3.7% of the total to global CO2 emissions, compared to 2% from air traffic (source: Karma Metrix). Applications to participate in the AGP are officially open.
From a green perspective, more and more companies are now choosing sustainable hosting, like that of Artera. Sustainable hosting is a server that uses renewable energy sources, which uses more efficient devices and technologies capable of consuming less and better, which promotes the recycling of old equipment and operates in all respects in a sustainable way, significantly reducing its emissions of CO2.
“The Growth Program is an initiative we thought of to celebrate Artera’s over 20 years of activity” he declares Sergio Ravera, CEO of Artera. “We have always believed in innovation and this program, with a reward of up to 50 thousand euros in hosting credits offered, is our concrete way of contributing in this sense to support the growth of communication and web development agencies, as well as projects to be supported by them and by innovative, high-impact businesses. I thank all the partners for deciding to team up with us for this initiative.”
Who can participate
The AGP is primarily aimed at businesses and entrepreneurial projects in the ICT field, but more generally to companies that are particularly committed to marketing and web development. Therefore, marketing agencies, system integrators, software houses and all those companies that deal with web development, e-commerce and management systems can apply to the AGP.
How does it work
A qualified jury made up of the actors involved – Artera, Merakyn, Polo ICT and Impact Hub SB – will evaluate the projects presented on the basis of these 4 main parameters: Market and business potential – evaluating the size of the reference market and the growth objectives that the company intends to achieve; Technological innovation – examining how the business project stands out in the sector and evaluating the technologies or tools adopted; Impact of the project – evaluating according to the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) framework that the project promotes sustainability and contributes to social and environmental well-being and corporate responsibility; Business opportunities – evaluating the main objectives that the company intends to achieve through participation in the program and how the business project can exploit Artera’s Cloud and Hosting services to encourage business growth.
