Province of Utrecht – Starting this week, residents of the province of Utrecht can nominate candidates for the Bakhuis-Wolters Prize 2024. This prize is for people who are committed to society, with special attention to women’s emancipation. The prize is named after Hendrika Berendina Bakhuis-Wolters. She was the first female member of Parliament in Utrecht and was also active in the municipal council of Zeist.
