Apple’s new iPhone SE: which operator is it the cheapest with?

Apples new iPhone SE which operator is it the cheapest

Apple has just unveiled the third generation of its iPhone SE smartphone. It is available for pre-order, for delivery on March 18. The official prices are as follows:

  • iPhone SE 64 GB : 529 euro
  • iPhone SE 128 GB : 579 euro
  • iPhone SE 256 GB : 699 euros

For the moment, e-merchants charge the same prices as those of Apple. On the other hand, you can pay less for your smartphone if you take a package from SFR, Orange or Bouygues Telecom.

We have established below the price at which you will get, in total, the iPhone SE if you take a plan. In order to simplify things, we have opted for representative 4G and 5G plans, with at least 80 GB of data. We also place ourselves in the case of a new customer, who does not have a mobile or Internet subscription with the operator (box owners can generally benefit from a discount on the package). We have also included Free’s Flex rental/sale offer. It allows you to buy a smartphone by paying a reduced initial amount, then 15.99 to 19.99 euros per month (depending on the configuration) over two years, in addition to the package. At the end of this period, the customer can choose to permanently purchase the device by paying the sum of 76 to 100 euros. In total, there is no additional cost on the price of the smartphone, but no reduction either.

Sosh, B&You and RED by SFR have low-cost, no-commitment packages. But they do not practice significant reductions on the terminals (30 euros at best). The offers from Bouygues Telecom, Orange and SFR imply a 24-month commitment.

For the 64 GB model, this is the offer 110 GB of Free which is the cheapest in the first year, taking into account the package and the smartphone. It is followed by offers 5G Bouygues Sensation and the package 5G 150 GB from SFR. After two years, these are the packages 4G 100 GB from RED by SFR and B&You which are the most profitable. The most interesting first 5G package is the one 210 GB of Free.

For the 128 GB model, the package 110 GB of Free is a very good deal, followed by packages Bouygues Sensation and SFR who are neck and neck. After two years, these are the packages 100 GB of RED by SFR and B&You which are the most interesting. And if you want 5G, opt for the plan 90 GB from Bouygues Telecom or for the one 210 GB of Free.

The top ranking for the first year of purchase of the 256 GB iPhone SE is similar to that of the 128 GB model: the plan Free 110 GB comes first, followed by offers of SFR and Bouygues Telecom. But we also note the good score of the package 5G 210 GB from Free For the second year, the offer 4G 100 GB from B&You is the most interesting. It is followed by the package RED 100 GB. For 5G, you have to turn to the offer 210 GB of Free.
