Some Apple Watch Series 6 connected watches have an annoying bug: their screen suddenly goes white. Apple is aware of the problem and offers to fix them for free.
However, you must first go to the dedicated page from the manufacturer’s site and enter the serial number of the watch to verify that it is eligible for repair. The serial number is accessible in the app Settingstouching General then Information. It is also available in the app AppleWatch of the iPhone, which is very useful if the screen of the watch is unreadable.
If your watch is eligible, you can visit an Apple Store, or an authorized repair center, to have it repaired for free. However, the repair does not result in an extension of the warranty. Then you have to have the watch repaired in the country where it was purchased. Finally, the offer is only valid for two years from the first date of sale of the product, which may have an impact on second-hand models.
