Apple has released the first major update for macOS Sonoma since its launch. At this point, everyone can now update their hardware to macOS 14.1. The macOS Sonoma 14.1 update comes less than a month after the landmark version of the operating system was released on September 26. While the major milestone release is usually the one where Apple incorporates the majority of feature changes into an operating system, the first version 1 often includes features that don’t quite make it. Some features appear, but not in the same amount as the larger version.
macOS Sonoma 14.1 brought innovations
Beta builds revealed a few changes in the Music app for macOS Sonoma 14.1, such as a new way to add songs to Favorites. System Settings also has a Coverage section used to check the status of AppleCare+. Simultaneously, Apple also released macOS Monterey 12.7.1 and macOS Ventura 13.6.1.
