Apple Releases iOS 171 and iPadOS 171 Updates

Apple released iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 updates. Now anyone can download and install these updates on their iPhones and iPads. First major update since the landmark iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 were released on September 18. Apple has completed its beta testing cycle and released iOS 17.1 and iPadOS updates to the public. The first major update usually consists of features that Apple wanted to include in the first version but missed.

iOS 17.1 operating system came with many innovations

The update slate for iOS 17.1 includes a favorites feature, replacing the previous ‘Love’ mechanic for Apple Music. Apple Music playlists can also be displayed in color-coordinated options of various geometric designs. AirDrop Over Internet is also included in these versions. A major change to AirDrop, this feature allows transfers to be completed over Wi-Fi or a cellular connection to the Internet in cases where the original signal drops for a standard transfer. Changes have also been made to the Display options to set the standby state, including whether the screen will turn off automatically, after 20 seconds, or not at all.
