Apple, iPhone 15 It made a splash in the technology world with its latest announcement during the event. The company is expanding iCloud storage options, giving users more space to store their valuable photos, videos, documents, and data.
Previously, an individual iCloud account came with a maximum storage capacity of 2 TB per month. But starting September 18, Apple is offering two new plans that appeal to users with voracious storage needs: 6TB and 12TB. However, perfect storage requires more cost.
These expanded storage tiers also include all the other features of iCloud+, including iCloud Private Relay and HomeKit Secure Video. It makes it a comprehensive package for those looking to store and secure their digital lives.
One question that remains unanswered is whether these new storage tiers can be combined with an Apple One Premier subscription. If this were the case, users could potentially enjoy a whopping 14 terabytes of storage.
While these new storage options come with a hefty price tag, combining 2TB of iCloud storage with an additional 2TB of storage from Apple One is a welcome solution for users who’ve already maxed out their previous 4TB allocation. Starting September 18, users will be able to subscribe to these larger iCloud plans.
