Cupertino has sent its lawyers to lobby several websites that allow downloading configuration profiles to install iOS developer betas without having a developer account.
All good things come to an end. You will no longer be able to install iOS developer betas without officially having a Developer account with Apple. The Cupertino company sent its lawyers knocking on the door of two websites that were distributing free, and illegal, configuration profiles necessary to be able to install beta developers of iOS.
The BetaProfiles.com site has just suddenly closed down, and has simply disappeared from the radar. Its owner, who received a missive from Apple’s lawyers, alerted subscribers to his Twitter account, indicating that he did not want to enter into a battle (probably losing in advance) against Apple.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that BetaProfiles will be shutting down soon, I just don’t want to get into a legal battle with Apple. BetaProfiles social media will remain as a place to discuss beta updates. Thanks guys so much ❤️

IPSW.dev, another site that offered everything needed to install iOS developer betas, is also offline. If it has not been officially confirmed, there is a good chance that he disappeared under pressure from Apple’s lawyers.
The disappearance of these two sites is however not very surprising. Because officially, to access the iOS developer beta, Apple requires developers to subscribe to its Apple Developer Program, a subscription billed at nearly a hundred dollars a year.
For several years now, it had become possible to circumvent this obligation very easily. Sites like BetaProfiles.com and IPSW.dev offered to download these famous configuration profiles for free (necessary to launch an OTA update to the iOS beta) or directly the installation files from the iOS beta developers. If this should complicate the practice, this movement made by Apple will probably not stop it. Unless the firm adds additional security, configuration profiles may now be shared directly on online storage services.
It will now take a little more patience to discover what’s new in future versions of iOS. You will now only be able to do this by using the official public betas that Apple makes available to users a few weeks after the release of the developer betas.
Currently available in beta version, iOS 16, which is scheduled for release in September, will introduce many new features, some of which should significantly improve your use of the iPhone.
