Apple cider recalled – may contain mold toxins

It is the apple must of 0.85 liters with a best before date of September 19 this year and Brämhult’s Immun Shot 0.3 liters, with a best before date of November 14, which are being recalled.

Patulin is one of the poisons – mycotoxins – that can form when molds grow on fruit and berries. At high levels, patulin can cause stomach upset symptoms, such as vomiting and diarrhea, according to the Swedish Food Agency.
