Apple changed the security settings of AirTag devices

Tension is rising in the region Bidens counterattack

Apple has changed the security settings of the AirTag devices it has put into use so that the objects are not lost. Recent research has revealed that these devices are used to track people.

Apple released a new security guide on Monday on how users can keep themselves and their data safe.

The company’s Personal User Safety Guide states that “persons who are concerned about being harassed or followed by technology” can be supported.

The guide also explains what users can do when they encounter an unwanted AirTag device.

AirTag, in the form of small devices attached to objects such as keys or wallets, is used to detect these objects using Apple’s ‘Find Me’ network.

The BBC, in the news it published last week, revealed that several women were followed with AirTag devices without their knowledge.

One of the women explained that she found the AirTag in her bag.

“When you create an object to find stolen objects, you also create an excellent tool for tracking,” says Eva Galperin, director of cybersecurity at the digital rights organization Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Apple, on the other hand, said in a statement to the BBC that it takes the safety of its customers seriously.
