Baku denies any blockade
They intend to protest against illegal mines in the region. At the same time, the authorities in Baku deny any blockade and claim that it was Russian peacekeeping troops who closed this road.
Last week, the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, considered that these Russian soldiers, deployed at the end of the 2020 war, did not fulfill their mission.
For the moment, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, no meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders is planned with Vladimir Putin, on the sidelines of a regional summit in Saint Petersburg which begins today.
