In one of Fast & Furious 10’s storylines, Han (Sung Kang) & Co. reunite with Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in London. The big moment was already revealed in a Fast & Furious 9 end credits scene. In the current part of the action series, the same moment can be seen again, but one detail is wrong.

In an interview with Insider, the actor talks about wanting Han to return to Fast & Furious 10 with the signature style that fans love about the character. Of course, this also includes the hairstyle:

I realized there are a few things that people need from Han. They want snacks, they want cool cars, and they want his hair. Hair is almost like a superpowerthat he has… It’s synonymous with what makes Han.

Sung Kang explains that Han only had the short haircut in Fast & Furious 9 as a disguise to be unobtrusive in public. He also didn’t realize that four years pass between the events of parts 9 and 10 would.

He turned down requests to have his hair cut short again for Fast & Furious 10. Instead, he preferred to tuck his hair into the back of his shirt to make it appear shorter. In the end, however, the typical Han style was most important to Sung Kang.
