Apartment Security Guard Threatened, Assaulted: Sarnia Police

A Sarnia Man has been charged with criminal harassment and assault after a security guard was repeatedly threatened, Sarnia Police Say.

Officers Were Called Around 1 Am Friday to An Apartment Near Maxwell and Front Streets. A 21-YEAR-OND MALE SECURITY Guard TOLD POLD HE WAS PATROLLING THE BUILDING when He SAW A MAN, Who TOSSED A CIGARETTE AND RAN AT HIM While Shouting and Gesturing Aggressively, Police Said.

“Imminent fearing physical violence, The (Security Guard) Quickly Drove Away with the Suspect Still Chasing Him on Foot,” Police Said.

Office Found the Suspect and Arrested Him. They Later Learned the Pair Had Clashed in the past, included on Feb. 3 and Feb. 17 While the Guard was patrolling a derby lane apartment building. The Suspect Tried to Steal His Phone, Threatened Him and Chased After Him, Police Said.

Adryan Moodie, 27, from Sarnia has been charged with Criminal Harassment, Assault, Uttering Threats, and Breaching Probation. He was held in custody, Said police.

Man Rummaging Through Vehicles

A 43-YEAR-OLD SARNIA MAN WAS ARRESTED EARLY Saturday Morning After A Suspect was Seen Rummaging Through Vehicles, Sarnia Police Say.

Police Were Called surround 3:40 am to east street near Lincoln Park, where they arrested a suspect who had tools with another person’s name on them.

“The Owner Lived Nearby and Almost $ 2,000 in Stolen Tools Were Later Returned to Him. Additional Stolen items we Returned to their Owners, All within the same Area, “Police Said.

David Erba, 43, a sarnia man with no fixed addresse, was charged with theft, possessing stolen property, and two counts of trespassing by night. He was Later Released, Said police.
