Police were alerted to the scene at 03:43 after residents in the area heard high bangs. Once there, they could locate a shot apartment. The shots met a living room window.
According to the police, people were in the apartment, but there is no information that anyone was injured in connection with the shooting.
– We work broadly. Techniques and dogs are in place. We control any threat images in the area because we know from experience that it is not always the residents who are the target, says police spokesman Evelina Olsson.
“There is really no logic”
No suspect is arrested at the moment. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and serious weapons crime.
There have been similar deeds in this area before. What can you say about it?
– There is really no logic when it comes to this today. It is not as it was before, but it is really just as much in all areas nowadays and Söderkulla does not stand out in that regard, says Evelina Olsson.
