Those responsible at Monster Hunter Wilds have unveiled the specific preload and release duration times for the new monster hunt on PC, PS5 and Xbox.

When is the preload of Monster Hunter Wilds? According to an official post of Capcom developers on X, the preload start times differ depending on the platform:

  • Ps5: 48 hours before the start in every region
  • Xbox Series X | S & PC/Steam: February 26 at 6 a.m. CET

    • When can I play Monster Hunter Wilds? It has long been known that the release for all platforms will take place on February 28, 2025. Now those responsible have revealed the exact times for all regions.

    In our time zone (CET) it starts on the consoles (Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X | s) at 00:00. PC players have to be patient until 6:00 a.m.

    What else do I need to know? In the meantime, the developers have adapted the information for the space required, from 140 GB to around 75 GB.

    If you want to experience Monster Hunter Wilds with up to three hunters in the co-op (with cross play), an active PS Plus subscription and an online multiplayer subscription via Game Pass Core or Ultimate need an active PS Plus subscription.
