The great Sims alternative Inzoi on Steam punishes bad characters even after death and lets them return as ghosts.
What is Inzoi? The upcoming game Inzoi is a life simulation of the Korean developer Krafton and is scheduled to appear on Steam in early in early. According to the current plans of the developers, the release for March 28, 2025 is scheduled.
The simulation offers a spacious, freely walkable world with numerous details and an extensive character editor. The game, which relies on Unreal Engine 5, also graphically convinces.

What about the ghosts? At Inzoi there is a karma system that always evaluates whether your character does good or bad and distributes positive or negative karma points.
At the end of the life of your character, finally decides whether you were a good or bad zoi. If you have collected more negative than positive karma points during your life, your character will be denied the transition to the world of dead.
Instead, your character will return to earth as a spirit and try to bring his karma point account into positive. Only then is his soul redeemed.
Can you play ghosts? Playing as a spirit will not yet be available for early access 2025. The ghosts are controlled by the system and can “encounter your characters at fixed times and under certain conditions”.
