27-year-old Popovitch has signed a three-year contract with Ilves. He played in Kuopio Palloseura for three seasons, during which he was winning the Finnish Cup and three SM silver medals.
Popovitch’s contract with KuPS ended last season. He says on the Ilves website that he has received several offers and that he has also been abroad to get to know the activities of one club.
Popovitch started his career at FC Haka, which he represented until the end of the 2020 season.
