Antitrust begins investigation against Conou

(Finance) – The Competition and Market Guarantor Authority, following a report sent to you by the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, has started an investigative proceeding, pursuant to art. 6 of law 20 July 2004, n. 215 and art. 8 of the Regulation on conflict of interests, towards the Undersecretary of State for Culture, Vittorio Sgarbi, for possible illicit conduct in violation of the provisions of law no. 215/2004 regarding activities incompatible with holding a government office.
The Antitrust announced this in a note.

“I am very happy with the start of the Antitrust investigation” which will clarify that “my activities are a legitimate exercise of copyright”, replies the undersecretary Vittorio Sgarbi who announces “the attack will be carried out as soon as the postal police have identified the person who sent the anonymous letter” to the press.
