Antarctica records an abnormally low level of ice

While forest fires are currently ravaging the northern hemisphere, from Canada to Greece via the Maghreb, the southern hemisphere is going through a particularly mild winter. Thus, the glaciation of the oceans surrounding Antarctica is abnormally low this year, a symptom of “climate boiling” as described by the Secretary General of the UN, Antonio Guterres, and which could threaten all marine life.
