It’s more than a film which is released on October 18 in France. “Anselm – the sound of time” is a sensation, a sculptural 3D cinematic journey through the life and gigantic studios of one of the greatest contemporary artists. German director Wim Wenders, Palme d’Or in 1984, is also the 2023 winner of the Lumière Festival in Lyon, which is screening a dozen of his films from October 14. And Wenders is the first who was able to film the incredible creative process of the very mysterious Anselm Kiefer. This German demiurge has lived in France for a long time and is respected and feared for his extraordinary mystical and monumental paintings and installations.
