Leevi Tukiainen and Miika Roine, who had a three-point night, led the Pelicans to a 4–2 away victory in the hockey CHL.
Pelicans won their second match in the CHL and grabbed a place in the playoffs, when the Lahte team defeated SonderjyskE in Denmark with 4–2 goals.
After the first half of the match, the league club had a safe-feeling four-goal lead, which dwindled in the final set.
Leevi Tukainen (2+1) and Miika Roine (1+2) were the powerhouses of the match. Adam Bares was responsible for the 3–0 hit in the opening set, which was the winning goal. Elias Vilén offered his chain mates two assists.
In October, the Pelicans will face the Czech Dynamo Pardubice away and the French Rouen Dragons at home. In the SM league, the silver group will have Pori Ässät as their guest on Wednesday.
